'Son Regrets Punching Mom' & 'The Old Disappearance Act'

Listen Later

First, The plaintiff says the defendant is her son. She claims he punched her in the face and put her in a chokehold during a recent argument, so she’s suing for emotional distress, the cost of a car, and tires. The defendant admits he hit his mother but insists it was in self-defense. He’s countersuing because he claims his mother lied about his biological father.

Then, The plaintiff dated the defendant, but after they moved in together, she claims he started disappearing for days and weeks at a time. She soon found out he was cheating on her with multiple women and is suing him for an unpaid loan. The defendant argues that he left and took trips because living with the plaintiff and her children during the pandemic was overwhelming.
