The Old Aeromotor Windmill (Larry W Jones 11/10/2020) (song #7733)

I replaced the brake on the old Aeromotor windmill

And as I did I felt kinda proud

The same old mill grandpa set is pumping cool water still

To fill stock tanks when there are no clouds

While on the small windmill platform I looked over the acres

My grandpa and Ma’s home on the range

He lived to see change by big money policy makers

Not much to brag about from the change

But my grandpa was a cowboy from his hat to his boots

And my own Dad was cut from the same

Now I’m the third generation who’s come out of that chute

Living the cowboy code is my aim

Sometimes I wonder if the old Aeromotor windmill
