Instructor Sonny continues about her transition from the school to Atlanta. She opens up a lot more about her journey into depression amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She expresses her thoughts on not just complaining to be heard but if you're going to complain you must invoke the change! As she continues to make her mind up she realizes the moment she left "both" of her jobs that ISH IS GETTING REAL!

A move she was ready for November of 2019 had to get paused due to God's timing not aligning with hers. In Today's Lesson Plan: We are facing our fears and having those uncomfortable conversations with our parents! Whether it is as simple as telling them how you feel or as complex as disagreeing with them or even unpacking some of your pains from the past- the conversation starts today in the classroom. 

Instructor Sonny invites her mother to the classroom to talk through some of their communication highs and lows. The inspiration for this episode comes after an intense argument they both had where they failed to see eye to eye. Classmates participate and share their input along with our 4 family guests who come to the board share their opinions! Instructor Sonny assigns Homework and challenges everyone to dig deeper within themselves to practice better communication methods when they approach their parents. Keep in mind, every beautiful relationship takes Hard Work! I can not promise you the conversation will be easy but trust me, it is necessary!

In Today's Lesson Plan: We are unpacking the many different ways we were disciplined as children. Do we agree with the ways our parents or guardians disciplined us? Did it really even work? Or better yet, would you choose to use those same methods when you have children? 

Instructor Sonny and first ever Teacher's Assistant Nesha have a in depth conversation with the rest of the class as they share their memories of physical, mental and emotional discipline while growing up. Classmates participate and share their input along with our 5 guests who come to the board share their opinions! Find out what new school methods they choose to incorporate into their parenting and what old school methods they want to leave behind for good.

In Today's Lesson Plan: We are talking about the things that we are grateful for! As we are approaching the holiday season and the wrap of year 2020 it is only right that we take some time to focus on the things that we are grateful for! It's easy to reflect on the negative things but let's share some time loving on the the positive things and being more expressing in showing gratitude. 

Get your grateful alarms ready and set a time! We are letting the world know that at any time and all the time that we can and WILL find something to be are grateful for!

In Today's Lesson Plan: We are talking about The Rules of The Roadtrip. We will address the Top 10 Rules for the ULTIMATE ROAD TRIP! Sonny will share some of her fun and horrible roadtrip experiences and invite some classmates to share their opinions.
