One of our biggest fans and most dedicated supports returns with another banger, surprise surprise. Jack comes back to ask the big questions like "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!" and "HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ROMAN HISTORY?!" And the man answers those for us in strides. Everybody learns a little something this episode. I think you will too when you listen to this episode of Sooner or Later Reviews, I love you, bye - JG
Just because Valentine's day is over, doesn't mean we are done with the themed episodes. So of course when it comes to Alex, she's gonna make it a scary one. So this week she picked the 2001 move Valentine. I'm not gonna spoil too much here, but you will definitely want to check this one out to see if this is a Girls Trip or if it's a Bad Moms (ironically two of her non-horror movie picks). We make jokes, we talk smack, shade gets thrown, and at some point, we talk about the movie! Tune in to see our review of Valentine, I love you, thanks, bye! - JG
It's at the end of the rotation, and that means one thing, we are getting a listener suggested episode. And it's been a few episodes since we had one of our top fans on the episode, so we had to bring Nick back! This being our Valentine's day episode, I was really curious why Nick didn't pick a movie about love. Having never seen Interstellar, I was really confused. So, if you want to see me do a complete 180 the entire episode, or if you want to see what Alex gives this Nolan space movie, you will definitely have to watch/listen to this episode! I love you, bye! - JAG
This is another first for us, not only did we review 500 Days of Summer, but we also did a commentary track over it! That's right, if start the movie when we started it, you should be able to watch along while we discuss and make jokes during my pick! And one of us has never seen it before! So come along with us and see how much some of us like or dislike 500 Days of Summer, I love you, bye! - JG
Now look, not every episode is amazing. Not every episode is terrible. This episode is something special, mostly because it's definitely not your normal run of the mill episode of the podcast. And we even talk about a new show coming in the future maybe??? Just gotta listen and see the chaos that was our review of Birdman. I love you, bye!
January is winding down, and so we are in between seasons. Not Christmas anymore, but not Valentine's Day time yet either. So that means James through a ton of sad romantic movies. And boy o' boy this one leans on that sad REALLLLYYY hard. So tune in to see how we all feel about this young adult novel turned movie featuring Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley. Find out who we think is the most abusive in the movie. BUT BEST OF ALL, FIND OUT WHO IS OKAY WITH DAY DRINKING! All that in more of our review of The Spectacular Now, thank you, I love you , bye! - JG
Guys, we are back c:. I'm really excited to be back at it and reviewing another movie. If you remember way back on Ep. 41, Alex Spun That Wheeeeel (TM) one last time before we left and it landed on Black Bear, and boy o boy I wasn't personally ready for what it might be. This movie came out in 2020 and you should definitely watch it before watching the review. This week we will find out who loves the bear, who defines what as cheating, and just how much Eric is over Joey's shit. So tune in to the first episode of 2021, it's a ton of fun! I love you, bye!! - JG
Welcome to the last recorded episode of the year, and we go out with a real good one. An old friend, Efrain, joins us to talk about one of his favorite horror movies! We talk about the wild ride we all go through watching this movie from beginning to end. From James almost not making it, to Eric driving home at light speed to watch the movie. And does the Mother of Horror approve of this pick?! Give it a watch/listen to find out! I love you, bye! - JG
Vinny is back again for the first time in a long time. And he's bringing a movie that really speaks to a lot of us. It's a redemption tale of a Dad who works hard to show his son he loves him, while also making some bomb ass Cubanos. Let's see who can handle the Spanish heat? And who will be EL HEFE of the episode? Gotta listen to find out. I love you byeeeee - JAG
You could say a lot of things about me. I'm short, I have curly hair, I cry at weddings. Another thing you could say about me is that I LOVE ARNOLD. And I'm not talking about that idiot with the football head (though I love that show too). I'm talking about the action hero giant, the man that pumped all that iron. I love a good Arnold movie. So when it came time for a Christmas movie, there was clearly only one choice. JINGLE ALL THE WAY. And, we all have some pretty strong feelings about this movie, you just have to watch to find out. I love you, bye! - JG
