Sooner or Later Podcast

Now look, I know last week in our little talks I was talking about how we have been doing so many SOONER (tm) reviews, so it's funny that this time around we are going to be doing a few LATER (tm) reviews! To celebrate the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month (viva la raza) we are doing a Robert Rodriguez classic! One which Alex hasn't seen! This movie really kicks off our month long adventure into Hispanic movies with a bang! So come along as we talk about this totally regular plain ol' heist/kidnapping movie ;) - I love you, bye! JG

We started this podcast right before the world got shut down. So that meant most of our movies HAD to be Later reviews. But, now that we got that jab (Go get your dang shots!), we feel safe going to the movies and seeing a ton of SOONER reviews. But that means that we don't know what we are gonna get! Malignant is one of those movies. We don't know anything about it, but we do know James Wan. That means we have a LITTLE bit of an idea of what's gonna happen. So come find out how we felt about Gabriel and the Malignantness of it all. We also may or may not pitch a sequel to ol' Jimmy Wan, so make sure you stay for that too!

Just because it's August doesn't mean it's not also SPOOOOOOKYYYY season. We keep that Sooner train rolling with Candyman, the sequel to the original Candyman! We all come into the movie with different Candyman experience levels and it definitely influences how we saw the movie. Come hang out and see what the BUZZZZZZZZZZZ is about Candyman (2021). Oh baby you know what time of the week it is, it's new Sooner or Later time! Since we had to review a real stinker last week we had to talk about a movie that lives in a sea of stinkers. Surprisingly not all of us agreed on this one. So you will have to watch to find out who in this rag tag group of podcasters didn't love The Suicide Squad. I love you, bye!

What's up dawg, so look, we had the choice between this and The Suicide Squad. And Galex fought tooth and nail to go see this movie. So we thought she had actually seen Don't Breathe 1, come to find out she never did. So fine, we already got the tickets. We had decided that we were gonna see this movie. So we moved forward with it. While this review is short, boy o boy is it a lot of fun. This movie wasn't great, but we had a great time seeing it, and a great time reviewing it. Ayyyy bbs another week, another episode, kinda. You know we try to be consistent as possible, but sometimes we are as consistent as the marketing for these A24 movies! BOOMED EM. But really though, the bois got together this week to talk about The Green Knight, and we had a pretty good discussion I think! A lotta laughs, a lot of gushing over cinematography, and just all around a good time. So come hang out! I love you, bye! 

Judge Love shows up during Summer Break to deliver a big ol' can of action with The Raid: Redemption. So this one on one review is really just a couple of dudes loving some high octane minimal story movies. So hang out with a couple buds and have fun while we talk about The Raid! I love you, bye! 

Now look, I haven't been good about posting these. But that doesn't mean they aren't there. So here is James' pick of The Big Sick, and one of the cast was feeling a lil sick during the filming, so he was being a cwanky baby. Just gotta listen to find out who ;) I love you, bye! 

You know we had to DO IT TO YOU. The SOONER train keeps chugging away, this week with The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do. And boy some of us got some feelings about it. Since we have seen a large chunk of the Conjuring Cinematic Universe, we are basically the Ed and Lorraine's of reviewing Conjuring movies. Man I suck at these
