In this episode, we get real deep and personal about something else that has been plaguing the Black population: Mental Health. More specifically, the negative stigma that is attached with mental health. Time and time again, black people are often dismissed and forgotten when the subject of mental health is brought up. I talk about how many famous black celebrities and superstars bring up their mental health and how it's affected them in their daily lives, especially during peak performances. Plus, I talk about my struggles with my mental health and talk about my everyday fight with anxiety, depression, and PTSD and suicidal thoughts. Finally, I give The Wrap Up. If you or a loved one struggles with mental health, need someone to talk, or on the verge of a mental health crisis, please feel free to contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
