In this week's episode, I talk about the origins of music in black culture, from its early days of hymnals and African folklore songs, often made during slavery times to help runaway slaves find their way to freedom to the 20th Century and introduction of Jazz in the roaring 20s, through the 30s and 40s, and how one man changed the course of music as we know it (meaning he took credit for something that was made in Black Culture). Plus, I break down my music library of the genres I listen to from rock, rap, hip hop, pop, soul and RnB and why white culture needs to be stopped when it comes to how comfortable they are with trying to Crip Walk. Then finally of course, it's The Wrap Up. Stay tuned for the Bonus episode about vivid dreams and nightmares and causes of it (in my case at least). Thanks for the birthday love and wishes as well as the continued support of the podcast!
