Seriously, why did our moms make motherhood look so easy? I became a mother and I did not expect it to be this hard. Sure, I knew it would be a lot of work but I did NOT imagine it being this much work. If you can relate, this episode is for you! Momma, I see you. I see you trying, your best is good enough. It's okay to go have big dreams. It's okay to go after those big dreams. It's okay if your house is not Pinterest-perfect. Your kids love you just the way you are. Keep showing up for yourself. Keep showing up for your kids. Take it one day at a time. We don't always get it right but we sure try our very best.

I know, so many of us mommas hate putting ourselves first. However, when you're on an airplane they always say to put your safety mask on first. How about we start applying this to our daily lives? It's okay to put yourself first. Pour into you so that you can pour into your children. It's okay to go after your dreams. Will it be hard? Heck yes, but it will also be worth it. You can do hard things, momma. Once you take care of your needs you will be better equipped to take care of the needs of your kids. Don't believe me? Try it and find out.
