With 25 years experience and over 10 Certifications, Sanna Carapellotti, MS, CHt, is an experienced, highly trained Change Therapist who helps her clients resolve long-standing life difficulties or stress due to an anticipated event, such as surgery or academic testing.
She has developed her own psychological approach applying an â??Integrated Energyâ?? methodology which combines five therapeutic techniques:
Hypnotherapy Redefined
Guided Imagery
Hellinger Family Constellations
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)
to guide her clients into the subconscious, discovering, the meaning of, the life challenge and co-existing solutions of their struggles.
Her article on how to deal with the stress of surgery is in the Fall 2014 print issue of the Journal, and in this cast, she expands on her article by going into detail about the kinds of stresses involved with surgery--which often have nothing to do with the surgery itself, but in all the other mental or emotional issues that may bring up. These include the general feeling of loss of control or even the ability of some men to express their fear at all.
In this conversation, Sanna describes in some detail the effects of stress on the body and mind, and why it is such an important issue to deal with in any discussion about healing. She also explains how NLP, EFT and Hellinger Family Constellation are essential tools in her toolbox, and they are synthesized into one integral healing toolkit that address the mind and body. We also spend a few minutes on the nature of what is beginning to be refereed to as the Mind Body Unit. With 25 years of experience, Sanna is well versed to describe it and how it works.
