With the federal election polling date of May 21st rapidly approaching, Suzanne sits down with Dr Sarah Russell, independent candidate for the seat of Flinders.

An historically safe Liberal seat, Sarah’s campaign for Flinders, entirely community funded, is centred on restoring trust in elected representatives by improving transparency and accountability in federal government, especially in relation to party funding and donor interests, and aged care.

With the federal election polling date of May 21st rapidly approaching, Suzanne sits down with Surbhi Snowball, ALP candidate for the seat of Flinders. Historically a fortress seat of the Liberal Party, Surbhi aims to take the departure of the incumbent Greg Hunt from politics as an opportunity to present the constituents of the Flinders Division with a candidate who shares and champions their views on climate change and other socio-economic issues, and who embodies the everyday Australian.

It’s been a huge year for Deputy Mayor Sarah Race. In this exclusive interview for Sorrento News Sarah talks about her 2020 and running for the Nepean Ward and being elected Deputy Lord Mayor and what will be her priorities in 2021. Sarah also talks to Suze Jones about her family and the much anticipated birth of a new niece or nephew in the coming days.
