In this week’s spooky episode, hosts Margo Rita, Tuesday Addams, & Alexa Pro share stories of paranormal experiences during their time in the evangelical church. Each story opens a conversation around what can/cannot be explained & how the paranormal is viewed in the church. It also opens discussion around what we believe now & how our relationships with the supernatural might be different if not influenced by the church. We invite you to share your stories with us! This week’s episode is part 2 of our Predatory Pastors series. We received many listener stories about experiences with predatory pastors, so we thought it only right to read some on the pod and open up the conversation around this important topic. We hope hearing these stories helps you find connection, solace, and healing in your own journey and empowers you to continue to speak your truth.

This week, host Tuesday Addams discusses the horrific but lesser-known cult, “Followers of Yahweh,” and host Alexa Pro joins to be the listener and learner about the group as well. Hang on to your trucker hats- this one is truly wild!

This week, we dive into one of the most culturally impactful movements in the Evangelical church- Purity Culture. This movement impacted us, our families and friends, and our whole lives while in the church and after leaving.
This topic is so vast, we felt it needed 2 episodes. In this episode (part 1), we aim to establish and define the purity culture movement and its impact on the young people in the church. And yep, we included contracts, True Love Waits, and purity rings.
In part 2, we’ll get more personal and share how it impacted each of us personally, but for now- we hope listening to us talk about it helps you feel seen and know that you’re not alone.
Please excuse our few audio issues in this episode. Either Tuesday needs a new mic, or we have a ghost. We don't really know.
As always, please email us with your thoughts, concerns, topic ideas, personal stories, *prayer requests and praise reports (hallelu--hallelu--halleluuuuuuujah)*!
