Mike Dorman is the owner of an English school in Germany that provides in-company training for its adult, working professional clients who need English for sectors like energy, finance, and manufacturing. In addition to the curriculum design for these courses, he also teaches various business courses at the FOM University (Germany).
Mike received his Bachelor of Science in History and Philosophy from Weber State University (Ogden, UT), in 2008. Almost immediately, he moved to Tucson, AZ, where he taught social sciences and coached basketball at nearby San Pedro Valley Academy. It was here that he met his future wife, Carina Auler, who just so happened to be German and just so happened to take him with her to Germany.
Somewhat of a post-Renaissance man, Mike has a depth of knowledge in a wide range of subjects, and this love of learning is best channeled in the one activity that comes closest to bringing all his far-flung interests together: writing. Most of all, Mike is a big believer in personal growth, bringing a wealth of personal experience and insight to the Peak Visions adventures. Though relatively young at 36, Mike has over a decade of teaching experience, and his efforts in the classroom have won him acclaim.
