In today's episode, we introduce the concept of attachment theory and discuss how your attachment style can impact your personal and professional life.
My guest for this episode is Transformational Relationship Coach and Author Dr Gary Salyer. I first heard of Dr Salyer when he was interviewed in a podcast in 2019 promoting his book 'Safe To Love Again.' Which was my first introduction to attachment theory.
Working with Dr Salyer has helped me be more attached to myself which acts as the operating system for how we move through our lives.
I'm so excited to feature Dr Salyer in this episode. Here is a bit of what we cover:
1. The definition of Attachment Theory
2. How we develop our attachments and how they can impact us later in our lives.
3. Whether we can change our attachment styles or not.
4. Dr Salyer's journey toward becoming a relationship coach
And more....
This is part one of a two-part series. Part one focuses on the impact that our attachment styles can have on our lives. Look out for part two where Dr Salyer discusses his journey to finding his soul career as a relationship coach.
