  • Episode 72. Outgrowing your teachers

Have you put your teacher/mentor on a pedestal?

Are you struggling with accepting the fact that you've outgrown your teacher and it's time to either move on to another teacher more suited to your needs or realise that it's time you become your own teacher? Are you afraid of offending them or perhaps avoiding dealing with it because it's uncomfortable?

Maybe you are afraid of embracing your own greatness and leaving your old teacher is like taking the stabilisers of your bike as you try to master cycling by yourself. Fear of all the falls, the cuts and bruises, and fear of failure.

It could also be that you still have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and you keep seeking external knowledge and guidance to satiate that, which leads to moving from teacher to teacher, course to course, and retreat to retreat. In this case it could be that it is time to start looking within much more deeply and learning to establish and develop inner guidance.

  • Episode 71. What is your medicine and who needs it?

As a healer, are you working with anyone and everyone that comes to your door? Do you feel fulfilled working with them or are you just going through the motions? Do you feel like what you have to offer is not being received or appreciated? Do you feel that you are too much for your clients? Maybe they feel overwhelmed because you are trying to overfill their cup.

I feel that medicine resonance is a vital part of fulfilling your potential as a healer. Is your medicine a match for your client's needs? Can they fully receive what you are offering them and feel the benefits of that? To be fulfilled and to be effective as healers we need to know what our unique medicine is and trust that it will be the perfect solution for the right people.

Our medicine is who we are at the core of our beings. It is also an embodiment of all our overcomings, life experiences, life lessons, and unique frequency we emit. When we can accept that is who we are and the power we have to help the right people we will feel more aligned with the flows of source and life becomes more graceful and abundant for all.

  • Episode 70. Challenges in following Infinite intent

Aligning with Infinite Intent is a skill that not everyone can master, but when you do, it can lead to a much more graceful life.

The river of life will flow in whatever direction the Infinite sees fit for the perfect moment. We can either align with that or try swim upstream against it because we don't like the direction it is going. In my own experience, and with 20/20 hindsight, I have noticed that with big changes that I have aligned with that I didn't particularly want to do, it has always been exactly what I needed in the long run.

Sometimes aligning with Infinite intent can be immediately obvious and a joyous and graceful experience. Other times it can be so subtle that you don't even notice any changes at all. However, it is the times that you feel your whole world is being turned upside and you feel like you've dropped an atomic bomb on your loved ones that you really don't feel like you are going in the right direction.

These are the moments that your faith and devotion to the one life, to source, are tested and you really need to pan out and see from the eternal perspective to manage the seeming contradictive short-term upheaval. That faith and devotion is something that is built up over time and is what drove me to surrender to moving to Canada with my children from Ireland. It's what drives me in my daily life too. From the words that come through me to the actions that I take.

  • Episode 69. Standing side by side

When an issue arises in a relationship I find it most helpful to not take it personally and stand side by side with your loved one as you address the issue together as a team. See the issue as an opportunity for growth for both of you and the strengthening of the relationship.

When one person in a relationship has a blind spot for example, they may be displaying distorted behaviour than is very clear to you. Rather than straight up pointing it out to them in an accusatory way, it can be more empowering to approach it with compassion and find a way to address it as something non-personal that is held and viewed together side by side from the sacred space of the relationship container.

See it as a game to release an old way of being, coping mechanism, or undesirable relationship aspect, etc., and an exploration to discover a higher version of your loved one, yourself, and the relationship. Your partner will feel more respected, loved, and held and will be more open to sharing deeper aspects of themselves that can bring healing and evolution for all.

  • Episode 68. 7 Steps to Healing Loss & Bereavement. Part 3

Step 5. Start planning your future without your loved one. This can bring up a lot of guilt, so be prepared to deal with that. Will you stay at the same job? Are you in a situation to take time off? If so, take as much time off as you can so can make a decision from a place of clarity and not distress. What is the best thing to do for your kids? Can you work part-time? You may want to enter another relationship for comfort or maybe to bring a level of stability back to your family. Take your time with this decision too and start by trying to find what you're looking for within yourself before trying to find it externally.

Step 6. Start to discover who you truly are without your loved one. Much of what you thought you knew about yourself was through the eyes of your relationship with your loved one and all other relationships for that matter. This will change and so you have the opportunity to delve deeper into your soul to start discovering who you truly are without these external influences. Find out what makes you happy, what inspires you, what makes your soul sing, and start down that path.

Step 7. Be your authentic self and be prepared to release all those you no longer resonate with. As you delve deeper into your journey of self-discovery you will realise that your circle of friends will change. Be true to yourself and don't let doubt or guilt stop you from following the path you're meant to be on.

  • Episode 67. 7 Steps to Healing Loss & Bereavement. Part 2

Step 3. Connecting with your loved one in the soul world.

One of the biggest mental challenges to losing someone through death is for the mind to not only adjust to the fact that the person is no longer here in the physical world, but that it can't place where they are. This uncertainty can be very taxing on the nervous system and psyche, and can be a barrier to truly overcoming grief.

After you release a substantial amount of trauma from your body it can be really beneficial to connect with your loved one in the soul world, which is where you go when you die. Having the experience of being able to place them somewhere, even if it's not a physical location, can be immensely soothing for the soul, and can really kick off a deep healing process.

Step 4. Releasing the person as a reference point.

If your loved one was a major part of your life then they were a major reference point that is no longer there. There is a huge void that you will have to figure out how to fill. This will involve many changes, sacrifices, and stepping up in a myriad of ways. Things will never be the same again and you could even say that you have also died, because the person you were was most likely heavily influenced by the role your loved one played.

  • Episode 66. 7 Steps to Healing Loss & Bereavement. Part 1

Step 1 - Allow it! There's not much to be done when you've just received the biggest blow of your life. Be gentle with yourself and take all the support you can get. Allow yourself to be vulnerable and even weak. It's OK. These initial few days will be crap and no one can really say or do anything that will change that. It's about surviving and getting through the funeral, etc.

Step 2 - Release the trauma from the body. This is the biggest part of the healing journey from my experience and from most of my clients who have worked with me through this. The sooner you can do this the better it will be for you in the long run. If you let the grief and pain settle in your body it can create a semi-permanent blockage in your body that you may start building your life around rather than learning to move forward without it.

If you don't have the tools to do it yourself find help. I have a 12 week bereavement program to help my clients through this intense transition to a new version of themselves. Email [email protected] to find out more.

  • Episode 65. Releasing the need to justify your existence

Many light bearers of the planet feel like they need to justify their existence here on Earth at this time. They feel like they should be doing more. Healing more people. Doing more ceremonies, more meditations, attending more retreats, doing more inner work, etc.. They feel like their progress through life is measured by these actions and even how much they have sacrificed to be the best they can be on their spiritual journey.

They also feel guilty for their past actions and attitudes that don't align with their current ones. They feel they have let the Infinite down and it is disappointed in them. They feel like if they are not always giving and striving, the world around them will fall apart.

The good news is that you have already won because you are alive at this critical juncture of life. You have been chosen for your uniqueness to serve life by just being yourself. No need to justify. No need to strive. No need to be anything more than your true, authentic self and all that entails.

We are the instruments in the orchestra of life. The Infinite is the one playing the instruments in a perfectly choreographed symphony. The notes being played are our unique expressions of our highest truths. Release the burden of needing to make life happen and the need to justify your existence. You have already won because you are here.

  • Episode 64. The Matrix is a Narcissist

The matrix or virtual AI reality we currently live in is designed to control, confuse, weaken, and syphon off our energy until we expire.

When we have personal experiences of this through our interactions with people and situations, we tend to take it personally and engage with these narcissists. We try to change them, fight them, and blame them, yet never seem to get anywhere.

These situations and people are just a result of a larger system of control designed to use our blind spots, flaws, and even our good nature against us. This is so confusing to beings that are designed to live in love, compassion, empathy, kindness, and joyfulness. Therefore, we doubt ourselves and move further away from our true home within. We hold back on our true, authentic expression because it is often met with harshness and expulsion from our tribes. We try to navigate under the radar just to survive this crazy world, which takes us even further away from home.

The only way to leave the matrix is to connect to the real reality within, our connection to source. This is the beacon that is like a magnetic pull carrying us through the toughest of times and drowning out the noise that tries to misdirect us from our natural state of being. When we can anchor in the real, we can live our highest truth in an authentic and meaningful way. This is what will help us eventually wake up from this artificial simulation into a world that we feel love, adored, peaceful, and free to be ourselves.

  • Episode 63. Resisting the temptation to judge others

A spiritual awakening can bring unprecedented levels of clarity that can trick on into believing they have just discovered fire before anyone else!

Don't be fooled into thinking you know it all just because you suddenly find yourself surrounded with people who can't see what you can see and appear to be completely asleep and unaware.

As you leave your old life and the most of the people in it, you will start to encounter other souls you have a resonance with and can see what you can see. However, you may also encounter those who see much more than you can, and who would consider you to be the one that is completely asleep and unaware or maybe childlike in a cute and innocent way because you've just realised certain truths that have been apparent to others for decades.

This is why it is important to resist the temptation to judge those who are behind you on the journey of higher consciousness and be humble around those who have laid the groundwork ahead of you. Allow both to inspire you to be better and more compassionate. Maybe those around who are asleep are serving a higher purpose you aren't aware of.

We live in an unknowable universe, so be mindful not to fall for the trick of thinking you can really know anything.
