Speak and declare these scriptures over your marriage:

1. Ephesians 4:32 – 'Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.'

Pray for compassion and a forgiving heart, as Christ has forgiven us.

2. Matthew 6:14-15 – 'For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.'

Declare that you will forgive so that you are walking in the fullness of God’s forgiveness.

3. Colossians 3:13 – 'Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.'

4. Romans 12:21 – 'Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.'

Pray that forgiveness will break the cycle of evil and restore goodness.

5. 1 Peter 3:9 – 'Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.'

Pray for the grace to bless your spouse, even when they have hurt you.

There are spiritual implications for someone who is married to a non-believing spouse or a spouse who is not committed to their relationship in Christ. Nonetheless, If you are already yoked, what do you do?, what are the options in your troubles apart from leaving them?

Just like a successful business is measured by profitability, we must ask ourselves what defines a successful marriage. A business is designed to make money for its owners, but what is marriage designed for? What was God's intent when He created marriage

Marriage is not a transactional relationship but a lifelong covenant based on faithfulness, grace, and unconditional love—just as God remains faithful to us.

Marriage involves love, respect, and a mutual commitment to reflect Christ's love for the Church.
