Today, we are starting the last chapter of James. What are you heaping together for treasure in these last days? Where is your love? Where is your treasure? Is your love with the money? Verse 5 tells us we have abandoned ourselves to soft living and pleasures and self-indulgence. Where is our treasure?

We are looking at how the rich live their lives, but we know that God is a God of restoration, of love, of victory, and we know that He has a plan.

Finishing up James chapter 4 today, we discuss the power that believers have with social media. If you struggle with the negativity of social media, I encourage you to listen today and recognize the power you have in creating both a more positive algorithm and online presence.

We have been reading in James about living that godly life and it seems at times that it is near impossible. BUT GOD... gives us guidance, if we look for it in His Word. He gives us grace as we humble ourselves. He tells us to resist the devil and he will flee. How do we resist the devil? We draw near to God and God WILL draw near to us. This is probably the greatest promise next to the promise of salvation. Join us today as we talk about James 4: 7-10.

We can't deny that God's grace is gifted to us all, we only need to receive it. However, when we receive God's gift, by FAITH, we make Him Lord of our life, and therefore, we should begin to grow in obedience to His Word.

It is FAITH that is our roots, and as we abide in Christ (the vine), we will spring forth with fruits that will point the world toward Him.
