Founded by Gary Crosby OBE and Janine Irons OBE, their work continues to create opportunities for young musicians to develop, perform and flourish.

It was great to head down, soak up the sounds and atmosphere — made even better when some of my oldest friends joined me.

There's something special about a World Cup.

It's never just about football.

It's about people, cultures, pride and the incredible way music and sport bring the world together. Over the past few weeks we've witnessed unforgettable moments, incredible talent, passionate supporters and stories that remind us why the World Cup is the biggest celebration on the planet.

From the streets of Mexico to the cities of Canada and the United States, millions of fans have travelled, sung, danced and represented their countries with pride, respect and joy. In a world that can often feel divided, it's been inspiring to see how sport can unite us all.

This month's Soul Partizan Radio Roadshow celebrates that spirit.

Rather than focusing on the results, I'm taking you on a musical journey around the globe, featuring sounds inspired by many of the nations that qualified for the tournament. It would be impossible to feature every country, but I've selected tracks that reflect the richness, diversity and influence of world music, all viewed through the Soul Partizan lens.

The Music Is Black: A British Story opened as the inaugural exhibition at V&A East Museum in Stratford, London

. The exhibition explores over 125 years of Black British music's impact on culture through 200+ objects, including fashion, vinyl, and photography.

The runners and riders came through for this years Grand National at Aintree with three days of world class horse racing. Iam Maximus becoming the first horse since Red Rum in 1977 to regain the Grand National! What a day what an atmosphere!!! To celebrate I dedicated our latest podcast cover as a homage to the sport & I tell ya what these horses are massive up close.
