Relationships are beautiful, yet tough to maneuver through sometimes. Whether it's romantic, familial, social, spiritual, occupational, or my all-time favorite, a personal relationship with self -- any good relationship will require patience, prayer, communication, and grace in order to be healthy. Not sure if you've ever been there! I pulled my gratitude journal out and do like I do with every other notebook or journal, I turn my gratitude list into a To-Do List; then that list becomes a "Why Didn't You Do List," and that list becomes a "Why Can't You Get Yourself Together Gripe Session" that I have with myself.

Gratitude builds us up for life's inevitable ups and downs. As we practice gratitude, we become more optimistic, think more creatively, and have more loving, joyful relationships. Simply put, gratitufe means happiness. And happy people have been shown to live longer, healthier lives, and are more resilient to stress and depression. By practicing gratitude we are investing in a richer, more rewarding life.
Until next time my dears...
