During a low moment in my life, I started meditating on the phrase “Expanding Man…” Granted, as a lifelong Steely Dan fan, I knew exactly where the phrase came from. However, I knew I needed to keep exploring that phrase.
A couple of years later, I was invited to write a chapter for a book called “Redefining Masculinity” and the calling to explore that “Expanding Man” phrase and concept was only strengthened.
I knew I wanted to provide men the space to tell their stories. I knew I wanted to help men tell their stories about expanding what it means to be a man.
That’s why “The Expanding Man Chronicles” came to be.
We’re seven men from seven walks of life with seven stories about what being a man means to us.
We’re seven men from seven walks of life with seven stories about what being a man means to us.
On a personal note, helping these incredible men find their voices and tell their stories has been a revelation. And the book isn’t bad either.
And it doesn’t hurt to have six new brothers.
Please enjoy this conversation the Expanding Men had about our stories and about the impact this book is having on men, relationships, fatherhood, entrepreneurship, and acceptance of who we are.
Remember, today and every day…this is the day of the Expanding Man.
Oh…and coming Holidays 2024, “The Expanding Man Chronicles”, Vol II.
