The “golden rule” is to treat others as we would like to be treated. But what does Jesus say about it?

The reality is that He allows us to walk through things and face trials that we can’t handle without Him. It’s in our weakness that His strength is revealed in our lives. “I can’t handle this, but He can.” However, scripture does tell us that He doesn’t allow temptation and sin struggles without providing a way out. Is it the easiest path? No, but He promises us He will never leave us and get us through.
