The stories of Peter Rabbit and Margaret Wise Brown’s book Goodnight Moon captured my imagination as a child. Animals behaving as humans seemed both real and unreal in the most adorable and fascinating ways.

Humans can’t help personifying everything from pets and nature to machines and natural forces. We are intelligent social creatures. We crave to create sense from chaos and we love to makes the things nearby into our image. It’s what makes for the best stories, legends, and myths too.
