SOUL SEEKR

I am a little surprised that I made it to the 100th episode! Only because I sometimes find myself questioning my journey.

2 years ago I had my first true awakening with ayahuasca. I was stuck in toxic masculinity, I was deeply unhappy and I realized something had to change. I was "achieving" but I was asking myself "Is this what my soul is yearning for?"

Along my journey, I realized that I need to build practices into my life that both lift me up on a spiritual level, but also ground me on a life level.

In this episode, Sam is interviewed by Paul Clingan where he shares his story as an entrepreneur.

Sam grew up in Silicon Valley as a country boy. He grew up seeing his parent's entrepreneurial journey and as a young kid always listened to his parents talk business. This background gave him his own entrepreneurial drive and led him to start his first business in his senior year of college. 

Sam grew into a successful entrepreneur managing his business Swag Worx, selling promotional products. He is also an expert working with virtual assistants. He teaches people the power of working with virtual teams and how to build a successful business with this tactic only. 

After many years, he slowly realized through depression, he was not aligned with his spiritual and mindful side. In 2019 he started doing transformational breath-work and he felt reborn again. A week after that he did Ayahuasca, which took him through a weird series of synchronicities and creativity. 

Today Sam is proud to say that he is the podcast host for Soulseekr and is successfully balancing work and life  - or what he likes to call “soul life balance”

In this episode, Sam talks with Reyn about his encounter with a near-death experience. This encounter opened up Reyn's universal knowledge and led him to his spiritual journey.

Reyn describes this experience and how his body was removed from all senses. He saw a person dancing around a fire. He called death the most epic thing that could ever have happened. It is the conditions leading up to death that make us afraid.

When Reyn crossed the great divide and returned, he had multiple timelines, multiple memories, and heard sounds that can’t be heard in this atmosphere.

There was a moment where he crossed the threshold of the speed of light and became the golden ratio.

Sam talks with Shane Reilly about his incredible journey, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, the painful journey that took him to that adventure, about what it means to be Sovereign, and also about open relationships.

Throughout the podcast, you can really feel Shane's energy, it’s one that really draws you in and allows you to be fully present. 

Shane is a connoisseur of new things, new perceptions, and seeing the world through others’ eyes. His experiences over the past 2 years have led him to the most beautiful self-discoveries, experiencing life through his own lens and canceling out the noise of others’ expectations.

Shane’s transition story started in the depths of hell after a failed suicide attempt. Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro was his last chance at life, by proving his worthiness to himself. Luckily, Shane came down the mountain high on life but not without inner struggles and physical hardship, which he shares in a very honest way.

Sam then goes on to ask Shane about Sovereignty, the concept of making aware choices, based on “me and me alone”. Not to be confused with selfishness, this is about being alone and being ok, being self-sufficient in your own completeness. 

The conversation also touches on Shane’s approach to plant medicines and how, for him, they are a tool to see the truth of himself for himself. The episode concludes with Shane’s insights on open relationships and how that connects with the idea of sovereignty.

Pal questions him about the physical challenges experienced as well as the physical and spiritual benefits. For Sam, Bufo felt like a software upgrade, whereas mushrooms were less visual and more cerebral. It was more realizations about people in his life, especially his parents in this particular case. Sam describes just how open his heart felt and how much love flowed from that day. 

One of his takeaways from the immersion experience was the power of journaling, as a means to really find what needs to come out. It’s a form of channeling and it plays a huge part in our soul life balance.
