What if the peace you’ve been craving doesn’t come from trying harder… but from letting go?
In this episode of Soul Stories with Jill, we’re diving into Mel Robbins’ Let Them Theory, a simple but powerful mindset shift that frees you from the exhausting cycle of controlling, fixing, or chasing other people.
I’ll break down what the Let Them Theory really means, how it actually strengthens your boundaries (not weakens them), and how to apply it when you’re feeling triggered, left out, or misunderstood.
You’ll hear:
* Why “letting them” is not the same as tolerating bad behavior
* What it means to protect your peace without confrontation
* A personal story of how this mindset brought clarity and relief
* A quote from Mel Robbins that will land straight in your heart
If you’re ready to stop over-explaining, over-giving, and over-stressing about other people’s choices… this episode is for you.
Let them. And come back home to yourself.

In this episode of Soul Stories with Jill, I take you back to a Omega Institute conference I attended in the early 2000s, in Miami, where I had a chance encounter with the one and only Ram Dass. It was a moment that shifted something deep within me, and it’s a story I’ve never forgotten.
Before I share that story, I want to introduce Ram Dass to anyone who may not know his teachings. From his early days as Harvard professor Richard Alpert, to his spiritual transformation in India, to writing the beloved book Be Here Now, his message of presence, love, and soul-level truth continues to ripple through the world.
In this episode, I share who Ram Dass was and why his work still matters, read a powerful excerpt from Be Here Now, and open up about how seeing him impacted me in a way I’m still carrying today. This conversation is an invitation to slow down, be here now, and maybe even remember that we’re all just walking each other home.
In this heartfelt solo episode, I share a powerful recap of my Float Into the Solstice sound bath experience—an evening that left me feeling more aligned, alive, and authentically myself than I have in a long time. From the floating air mattresses under the stars to the text messages that rolled in afterward, this event wasn’t just magical for those who attended—it deeply shifted something in me too.
I also open up about a recent exchange I had with (ChatGPT) where I asked for help uncovering what it would take for me to fully step into my authentic self. The questions that followed unlocked something big—and I knew I had to share it with you.
If you’ve been feeling the nudge to stop hiding, stop waiting, and start living as the truest version of yourself, this episode is your loving push. It’s a reminder that time is precious, and your fullest expression is not just welcomed… it’s needed.

I want to uncover the masks I'm currently wearing, the roles I'm currently playing and the illusions I’m believing. Please help me through the process by asking me 10 reflective questions one at a time to recognize the stories I’m telling myself. After I answer the tenth question please step into the role of my higher self and analyze my responses. Identify the top negative patterns present in my life and the top positive patterns I can embrace and grow. Be direct and compassionate. Provide me with daily affirmations to support my growth, actionable steps to change my negative behaviors and embody my authentic self, along with encouragement from my higher self to celebrate how far l've come on my journey.
In this heartfelt episode, I share the story of a sacred turning point between me and my dad. One that took place 25 years ago in the heart of the Grand Canyon.
He was in Phoenix for work and asked if I’d like to meet him out there, which had never happened prior to this. We drove to the Grand Canyon & had dinner overlooking the rim (not sure which one) that night, and he casually asked, “Want to hike down in there tomorrow?” I said yes, but I had no idea that hike would lead to a deep emotional and spiritual breakthrough.
What unfolded on that trail was nothing short of sacred. We forgave. We released. We saw each other clearly maybe for the first time.
That day forever changed our relationship. It was a complete reset, and we’ve been different ever since. I often think of who I might have become if I hadn’t let it all go that day.
If you’re carrying old pain or hoping for healing with a parent or anyone in your life for that matter, this episode is for you. Healing is possible, even when you least expect it.
In one of the most moving episodes I’ve ever recorded, I sit down with one of my clients/friend who was home on hospice care, facing the final chapter of his life. What began as a private conversation turned into a powerful desire on his part to share his testimony publicly because, in his words, “People need to hear this while they still have time.”
With deep vulnerability and clarity, he shares what really mattered to him in the end: love. The love he gave, the love he received, and the love he wished he had shared more freely. This conversation is a sacred reminder of the legacy we leave behind, not in what we do, but in how we love.
Tune in for a powerful perspective shift, an unforgettable message, and a voice that may leave a lasting mark on your heart.
In this special episode of Soul Stories with Jill, the mic gets flipped! Jill’s brother steps in as guest host to ask the questions you might be wondering: Who is Jill Collins? What led her to this path of healing, podcasting, and soul work? From childhood memories and personal growth to retreats, breathwork, and sound healing. This candid conversation peels back the layers and reveals the heart behind the Wellness Farmhouse and this very podcast.
Whether you’re a longtime listener or new to the journey, this episode invites you deeper into Jill’s story. Tune in for laughter, reflection, a few surprises, and the raw truth of what it means to live a life guided by spirit, service, and soul.
Can you believe we’re halfway through the year?!? Halfway truly is the perfect time to pause and realign. In this episode, Jill explores what it really means to feel stuck and how imposter syndrome and perfectionism often show up when you’re growing, not failing. She shares how these patterns can hold us back and offers grounded ways to shift out of stagnation and reconnect to your purpose.
Whether your year is unfolding exactly as planned or you’re ready for a fresh start, this is your reminder that stuck isn’t permanent & to see it’s a nudge toward something deeper. You’re allowed to pivot. You’re allowed to begin again.
In today’s episode, we’re exploring one of life’s deepest truths: that everything we do, say, or feel is rooted in either fear or love. From the way we show up in relationships, to the way we speak to ourselves, to the choices we make each day—at the core, it all traces back to one of these two forces.
We’ll talk about how fear often disguises itself as anger, control, or judgment, while love shows up as connection, compassion, and truth. We’ll also discuss how becoming aware of the energy you’re operating from can shift the way you move through the world.
This conversation is an invitation to pause and ask yourself in those pivotal moments, “Am I acting out of fear or love?” and to begin choosing love more often—especially when it feels hard. Because while fear may try to protect us, it’s love that ultimately transforms and frees us.
After losing 32 pounds through a whole-foods-based program and completing her second parasite cleanse (the first in nearly 24 years!), Jill shares how she’s stepping more fully into her body—clearer, lighter, and more empowered than ever. In this episode, she dives into the emotional and energetic weight we carry, how to find a program that actually works for you, and why spring is the ideal time to clear what’s not yours—parasites included. If your body’s been asking for a reset, this one’s for you.

In this solo episode, I’m diving into confessions—from podcasting choices to personal challenges. I share the story of how I recorded a full episode, only to realize (while drifting off to sleep) that it felt too similar to one I had done before. Trusting my gut, I got up, reviewed it, and ultimately deleted it. I also open up about the Buy Nothing challenge—my intention to go a full month without making purchases—and how that’s still a work in progress.
I touch on a more somber note as well, reflecting on a dear friend who recently lost her son. It’s a reminder for all of us to drive with more presence—slowing down, minimizing distractions, and honoring the lives around us.
Finally, I talk about the energy of spring—how it invites us to let go of the physical and emotional clutter. This season is a beautiful opportunity to release what no longer serves us and make space for what brings us joy. I hope this episode offers you both reflection and inspiration.
