But what is your work? The Church would say "the devil is busy" as we witness the current events of the world around us. But you have more power to overcome than you realize. SOUL Vibrant is Officially Back since I took time to focus on my health. It's bizarre how quickly "My Body, My Choice", "A woman's right to choose", and other various pro-choice attitudes change when the choices go against societal "comforts". Or when the individual reclaiming their right of choice is deemed unworthy, undesirable, or unfit to make such noise. 47 % of physicians underestimate Black patients' pain levels. Black Women face a 3x higher mortality rate compared to other races, and 40% of providers have negative attitudes about patients with higher weight [Fat] bodies. I sit at the intersection of all 3 identities. I'm a statistic, Tune in, as I vulnerably reveal my journey navigating the healthcare system and the Choices I had to make to reclaim my Voice, Body, and Life.
