Welcome back to another episode of The Soulful Biz Babes Podcast! I appreciate you guys showing up. I know that this is a challenging time. I will literally use the word that my 11 year old would use, “Oof.” “Oof,” is what he says and honestly, that's how I feel about the past two weeks and it's not over, right? Hopefully, I mean, I truly believe in my heart, this is going to be a short term thing. I'm praying, but we nonetheless still have to deal with it, we still have to show up as the business owners and the leaders. So hopefully, what we talk about today will give you a little bit of a sigh of relief. I'm hoping I want this episode today to be positive. We're not going to be debating. I'm not into the fear mongering, the panicking, and everything. I'm about solutions and looking at the good side of the opportunity that comes from challenging times like this. Let’s dive in!

Hey! wasn't planning on recording today. But I thought to myself, “I gotta record this. I gotta get this out to my listeners.” And the thing about inspiration is when it strikes, you have to take advantage of it. So that's what I'm doing. I know that this episode is going to be so valuable for you because today we're talking about the number one way that you can bump up your visibility, your authority and your sales using your social media strategy. Now, if that doesn't get your attention, I don't know what will, right? Who doesn't want to use social media in a way that's going to make them more profitable? Make them an authority, an expert in their field gives them that clout, right? And it will also help you increase sales. So this is a recurring thing that all of the experts were talking about at Social Media Marketing World. And it really comes down to using your content, your social media, your blog posts, how you show up on YouTube, or your Instagram stories, to really serve your ideal customer - the customer that needs you, that needs what you have. Once you are offering to serve them, and show them that you can relate to their challenges, and you can help them. Okay, how so do we do that? We are going to talk more about increasing your visibility so tune in!

Today, I wanted to talk about some of the things that I would do differently now, if I were to be starting my business from scratch online. I was thinking about this because I am coaching online business owners, and they're going through this right now where they are getting started in their business. They're putting the foundations in place. Social media is so different now than it was a year ago. And it's different from three years ago because it changes so fast. So I thought it would be valuable to share some of my ideas if I was starting from scratch right now, what would I do differently. So take this experience, take my learned lessons, and see what you can put into practice in your business and if you're thinking about getting started in the online space, or if you're just getting started and you think, “Oh my god, nothing's happening.” I think that you're going to get some value out of our time together.

In this episode, I'm going to get a little vulnerable with you because we're talking about pivoting inside your business and specifically, my own journey in this area.

Now from time to time, it becomes obvious, or maybe not so obvious at first, that we might need to pivot, we might need to evolve our business, things might need to change in order for us to see better results or for us to feel more fulfilled so we can be more excited. Right? And the reason that we are talking about this is because there are some big, big changes that are on the horizon in my business, so we're going to talk about it.

Now, the short story is that the exciting changes happening in my business are really in regards to where I'm turning my focus and who I'm going to be serving. For me, this is both exciting and scary, too. But it's all good. It's not the scary feeling that makes you run away from everything scary. It's the scary feeling that makes you say, “Yeah, I know. This is where I'm supposed to be going.” And, you know, there's that saying, “If it's scary, it's probably the right way to go for you.” And that's what I'm feeling right now.

So I hope you're along for the ride, I hope you keep listening, because I think you can gain some clarity and some insight into this transition. This might be valuable for your business either right now or even in the future, or maybe you can even relate to something that has happened to you in the past. So take a listen!

Hello and welcome to another exciting episode of the Dance Studio Amplified Podcast!

For this episode, I wanted to talk a little bit about some of the big things that you can implement so that you can start getting yourself out of that day to day tasks and gain some flexibility and freedom inside your business. Whether that looks like being home with your kiddos for dinner and bedtimes, a date night with your partner, prepping for maternity leave, or the ability to step away for a business trip or vacation, there are a few key things to implement so that you have the ability to step away and have confidence that your biz is in good hands.

This episode was prompted by the recent anniversary of my grandmother's passing. I was thinking back how I had to step away from my biz for a significant length of time, and thankfully, I had enough systems in place so that I could spend time with my family and my business continued to run fairly seamlessly without me.

While you may not have any plans for parental leave, and you might not quite be ready to pass off some of your responsibilities, I’m sharing the big things to consider so that, when you need to spend time away from your biz (expected or not) it's not a stressor. I want your business to be the least of your worries.
