Sharing this soul sister convo from the vault! Back in October of '21 I had this conversation with my dear friend Marilyn Gomez.  Sharing it here with you!

Marilyn is a fellow fertility warrior, mama of one, and the creator of Infertile Tees. She is a passionate empath, Latina, loves stillness, peace, and light. Marilyn was desperate to find other ways to heal during her infertility journey along with talk therapy, so she got her reiki certification to help her heal through trauma of it all. She had her daughter in 2016, from her 3rd IVF transfer. In 2019, she attempted to expand her family with transferring the last 2 of her frozen embryos. That transfer failed so she closed her chapter of expanding her family to focus on healing and embracing and normalizing having one child, in a society that asks for one more. Marilyn is an advocate and speaker, and passionate about self-advocacy, community, and healing. She owns an online store Infertile Tees, statement tees for your infertility journey, to encourage women to talk about their story and feel less alone. She hosts a podcast: Mama Vida Podcast and interviews women and covers all topics related to womanhood, purpose, and life.

Our fertility paths are often full of detours and setbacks. In this episode you'll get to meet one of my earliest fertility clients who I had the great pleasure of supporting back in 2020.

Kristol shares her inspiring story to motherhood which included various surgeries and  multiple IVF cycles to reach her son. Having coaches, guides, and mentors in our lives will exponentially support us in our growth. It's something I strongly believe in, and I want to introduce you to one of mine!

Today you'll get to hear a recent conversation with a dear past client who openly shares her fertility journey, the challenges she's experienced on her path and steps she's taking moving forward.  Kylie came to me right before her embryo transfer with her one embryo. Her journey has been extensive with 4 egg retrievals, an unsuccessful transfer and other new diagnoses that have been uncovered.

Kylie's story is one I know many will resonate with. Doing everything "by the book" is something she shares she and her husband did through IVF. You may also relate to the extreme restrictions they made in their lives. The maze of specialists and testing has also been a lot to navigate. Kylie reflects on this complex journey and shares her very personal perspectives with you.

My friend Rachel shares her very personal experience navigating through IVF solo at the age of 40. Her desire to share her story with my community touched me deeply.
