Sounds From The Seventies

In our continuing series on debut albums released fifty years ago in 1973 we showcase this week the debut album of cult artist Elliott Murphy called "Aquashow".

The first in our series of debut albums released 50 years ago in 1973 features southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd and their debut release (Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd).

In this the last episode on our theme of albums produced by Todd Rundgren we spotlight the band Grand Funk Railroad and their 1973 album "We're an American Band".

This week is the last in our in memoriam theme and to finish off we pay tribute to the late great songwriter Burt Bacharach with his "In Concert" album originally released in Japan in 1971 and the rest of the world in 1974.
