Here's a show we only posted once. So now it's a summer flashback to our Sounds Like Radio Vol. 162 when the Great Gildersleeve gives Leroy his freedom.

Well, Your Humble Host was here to help Leroy out in his new quest for freedom. To do so we've brought along Andy Williams, Dorothy Shay, Merle Haggard, Dusty Springfield (our featured picture with this show), Bing Crosby, Doris Day and Burl Ives. Now between all of us we should be able to come up some helpful hints and some sweet sounds along the way.

Jack Benny is back on the Library of Sound (LOS) Volume 324 as his practicing the violin is getting on the nerves of his fancy neighbors, Ronald & Benita Colman. From April 14, 1946 Your Humble Host brings you another funny Benny show. Enjoy.

Marjorie & Bronco are finally moving next door to the Great Gildersleeve into the house they've been building. Sounds Like Radio Volume 173 celebrates the great move with some mighty fine music including our own Doris Day (as seen in our summertime picture with this show) & a very funny lady, Moms Mabley is here! It's the last show of our 4th season and that means our Gildy shows will return in September along with that mahvelous music and mirth from Your Humble Host.

Good News! Your Humble Host has returned with our favorite genius detective, Nero Wolfe! Today on the Library of Sound Volume 323 Nero investigates the "Death of A Demon" heard originally on April 3, 1982. This is just one of the many original Rex Stout Nero Wolfe short stories. You can read all about it in the book "Homicide Trinity". But for now, it's time to listen to Nero Wolfe.

Your Humble Host has returned with "The Saint" on the Library of Sound (LOS) Volume 322. Today the Saint has been called in to check on "The Champ's Kid". The Saint had a bet on the fight but is now told to call it off. Somethin' ain't right with the boxer it's up to The Saint to figure it out. Vincent Price returns to play Simon Templar on the radio version of The Saint!

It's Moving Day finally for Marjorie & Bronco on today's Great Gildersleeve on Sounds Like Radio Volume 173. And it's the end of Season 4 of our Gildy & Music shows & we are celebrating with some great guests and a truly funny stand-up comedienne.

The Library of Sound is open once again with Volume 320 and a neat Nick Carter, Master Detective show titled, "Murder In The Crypt". Isn't that overdoing it? Well we'll see what happens in this August 2, 1943 broadcast. Never fear, your humble host is here with you in the crypt along with the dead body and the murderer of the dead body. You know, things is gettin' a bit crowded.
