Today from the Library of Sound Volume 174 we may have what is probably the most important message you will ever hear.   Once we had a Real elected President, a President who spoke wise words, gave wise advice and was always looking out for what's best for America.    Today we'll hear all about what it means to be a real American, we'll be reminded we once had a brilliant President we could all be proud of.   No one hung his head in shame when President Ronald Reagan spoke.   Let us all take a moment to hear some of the wisest words ever spoken by a real President.   Your Humble Host is extremely proud to present the favorite President of my lifetime speaking as I can only wish any President would, President Ronald Reagan.   What you're about to hear should be common sense to all Americans.   Once it was so, President Reagan reminds us what no one should ever forget.

Join us for some fun on Sounds Like Radio Volume 126 with great music and The Great Gildersleeve from February 7, 1951.  It's time to celebrate Mr. Peevy as it's his 30th anniversary in the Drug Store.  It's also Richard Legrand's (the actor who plays Peevy) 50th anniversary in show biz!  Gildy takes over the drug store so Peevy can have his 1st day off.

We're here to join in the Peevy Festivity with a special song featuring Peevy's favorite beverage to sell.  It's my original 1970's Coke 45 ad song and the theme from the ad of that day.   You'll have to hear it to appreciate it.  Also helping out on Peevy's day are Andy Williams, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Bing Crosby and Uncle Jed from the Beverly Hillbillies--Buddy Ebsen.
