Pretty much described it in the title. It’s the pre-season, relax.
It ain't short at all! It's over an hour, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to title it, so it was a short shift, and then kept me up far passed my bed time. I take a look at all the teams I believe could be in on Jeremy Swayman should the Bruins opt to trade the 25 year old stud netminder.
A) these are one man's opinions. Do you hate me for these rankings? Cool, do your own then.
B) I essentially drafted these players and the order of who I would select. It isn't just based off last season, based off potential, or based off their career. It's who I'm betting on to be the top guys this season.
C) this is done for fun and content. I see too many people lose their skulls because their guy was underrated and someone else was overrated. Get over it, these are meaningless.
D) enjoy.
This one is mainly all about my latest rebuild rankings (that the Athletic stole my idea for but WHATEVER I'M NOT BITTER...), however also got some thoughts on Sid extending with the Penguins and the Oilers showing at the rookie tournament in Penticton.
20 years ago, this completely forgotten tournament was the secondary focus of the hockey world as hockey armageddon...otherwise known as the 2004 lockout...was the main focus.
Great day for Oilers fans, but a horrendous weekend for all hockey fans.
Broberg and Holloway are Blues, did Oilers management do the right thing? Plus, thoughts on the Laine trade to Montreal.
My boy Cod is gone. All hail Vasili Podkolzin and Ty Emberson.
I'm not seeing a lot of winners coming out of this mess, on either side.
