Soups on Hockey

It's all in the title! Start it off with rebuild rankings while also taking a look at all the teams who missed the playoffs, even those who aren't rebuilding. Then we get into the power rankings, followed by my playoff picks as we gear up for the playoffs starting this weekend!

Ovy hits 895! I worry things aren't as they seem, but I hope they are. I just refuse to ignore the elephant in the room like everyone else is.

I have to apologize to Doug Armstrong. I took our vendetta (he doesn’t know I exist) too far and need to give him his due. Plus, more on the Bouchard contract debate.

Soupy bear is back after a week off! Playoff format, game managing, Canadian teams in the playoffs and of course the Oilers all in this edition of the SOH Big Show!

Mostly on what happened at the deadline. Cozens/Norris trade, the Avs, the Stars, Rantanen, tons on the Oilers, and my freshly updated post trade deadline power rankings.

Just me reviewing what all 32 teams could and should do while giving extra time to my favourite shit show, the Edmonton Oilers.

It’s in the title

No more needs to be said!

This one is all about team Canada and the 4 Nations Face-off. Their loss to the US on Saturday, what needs to be done, does Canada need to do something about the way they're developing players, and whether or not they are done. They could be done today, they could be done Thursday, they could be champs by Thursday. Still a lot to be decided.

Thoughts on team Canada through 1 game and getting prepared to play the Americans on Saturday night.
