South Canadian Valley Church of Christ's Podcast

Have you ever wondered if the Word of God is authentic? If so, this podcast is for you.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (NKJV 2 Timothy 3:16).

How powerful is the Word of God in your life today? Many have said, "It is just a collection of thoughts written down by men from ancient times and does not work for us today."  It has been the most sought and used ever since it was made available to men to read and study.  It has been proven to change peoples lives forever! Jesus said, ( Matt 4:4 ) It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." You too can know the power of God's word in your life!

Have you ever heard the quote, “Don't forget where you came from, but always remember where you're going.” In this podcast we will explore some of the history of the Church of Christ while we study the Restoration Movement.

If we can help you with your Christian walk in any way, will you please contact the South Canadian Valley Church of Christ? Thank you for listening.

Youth Ministry?  Children? What does the Bible say? What is our responsibility?

Jesus was here in the beginning with God. He left heaven to come as a human to save us and reconcile us to God. Do we really know how much He and the Father loved us? Do we consider what he went through? Search the scriptures. You too can be reconciled to God! It is not too late! Come to Jesus now!

There are a variety of worldly views on Mark 16:16 and how it pertains to one's salvation.  We know that we are saved through the grace of God. However, this does not excuse the need for Christians to believe in Him and Jesus Christ as well as the need for baptism into the body of Christ.

As Mark states in this verse, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved..."

This lesson evaluates this verse and several other passages all pointing to the necessity of belief followed by baptism, not to earn salvation, but as an outward expression of our faith commanded by the word of God. If any lack wisdom, let him pray to God..... God has promised to give wisdom liberally to those who ask to truly seek him and who ask for accomplishing the glory of God. Do we ask God for the purpose to glorify him? Or have we asked for our purpose? Jesus said, "Knock and the door shall be opened to you."

This world has a lot of things to do, a lot of things that could be accumulated, a lot of places to go, and a lot of things to keep us busy. Jesus came to us from the Father to show us what really matters. What are we seeking? Where is our treasure? This world and all the things in it will be destroyed some day. Would you invest in something eternal? You can be a follower of Jesus Christ and set your heart on Heaven!

Have you ever thought or heard someone ask, what is so important about assembling together to worship God?

If so, today's podcast is for you.

Where we will...consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV).
