We all have been given a great blessing by God to have a mother. God came to this earth and also was born of a human mother. From the time she was told of Gabriel she would have a child who was the Son of God, she pondered things in her heart concerning what she was told. Even that there would be great pain as the mother of the Son of God. But she stuck with him from the time of his birth to the time of his death; and after. We all can learn a lot by her example. You too can come to Jesus, commit to him, and rest in him!
When the Church was established and began to grow, in the great numbers the Lord added to the Church came from a number of backgrounds and cultures. There was a lot of diversity. Yet the Apostles guided by the Spirit in leadership had to work with some problems that arose. There was a solution that kept unity in the Church. We too today need to listen to our leadership guided by the Word of God and not let diversity become a reason for division. But let it become a reason for unity. You too can become a part of the family in God!
When someone wrongs us, we often want justice, but our definition may differ from how the Bible defines justice.
For example, in Jeremiah 10:24, we find: Lord, correct me, but with justice; Not in Your anger, lest You bring me to nothing (NKJ).
This podcast shares steps we can take to align our definition of justice with that of the Bible.

If given a choice, most people would prefer not to suffer in life. However, for those that desire to follow Jesus, He says this;
...“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me (Matthew 16:24b, NKJ).
If we can help you in any way, please contact the South Canadian Valley Church of Christ. Thank you.
What does "Pure and Undefiled Religion" look like? Watching out for those who are at a disadvantage because of their situation in their family. Physically and spiritually. "Keeping ourselves unspotted from the world." The scripture in Romans 3 tells us we " all have fallin short of the glory of God." Many people know this. Do you know if you still have the spots of the world? You can be washed of them by " faith and obedience " to the Lord.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ gives a reason for a lively hope. There are many who in that time wanted to say it didn't happen. But the Apostles and many other disciples saw Jesus and had a hope for their resurrection after death. No more fear of death. Do you fear death and wonder about what comes after. Come to Jesus and you can have that hope.
In our post-COVID19 world, many people struggle to make ends meet and giving to the Church is usually last on the list, if at all. Regardless of your income, this message shares how to be faithful and increase your contributions at the same time.
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 6-7, New King James).
Many people struggle with knowing their purpose in life. As Christians, God helps us with this struggle by commanding us to reconcile ourselves to Christ and bring others to Him.
In today's lesson, we will evaluate this call to reconciliation from the creation of Adam and Eve to the responsibilities we as Christians have today.
If we can help you in your Christian walk in any way will you please join/contact us at the South Canadian Valley Church of Christ.
Although each of us differ in many ways, we as a Church body continue to come together in unity under Jesus Christ. We utilize our differences to compliment and support one another under His standard. You are different in abilities, in talents, and in many other ways. We invite you to share those differences with us at South Canadian Valley Church of Christ.
Do you have or know someone that struggles with a life dominating sin such as drugs, alcoholism, gambling, lust or the like?
If so, would you like to know how you/others can break free?
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed (New King James John 8:34-36).
