During your Christian walk, have you ever compared yourself to someone else? In todays lesson, the Pharisee also makes this mistake, but Jesus shares with us how we can be justified in our prayers and in life.
The Apostle Paul also has this to say on the topic; For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise (NKJV 2 Corinthians 10:12).

Like Thomas, at times, we all may have doubts about our faith. “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).
If you need to strengthen your faith, please contact or visit us at the South Canadian Valley Church of Christ.
At times, we may feel like there is something wrong with us. One reason for this feeling is,
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).
If we can help you in any way, will you please reach out to one or more of us?
To be a child of the Father in heaven, Jesus teaches us in his sermon on the mount that we must not only love our brother, neighbor, but also our enemies. Jesus not only taught us this, he lived it here on earth, and came to earth to lay down his life for all of us who were enemies to God. For our sins were like a wall of separation between us and God. Would you be reconciled to God and live the rest of your life as Jesus did loving all?
