We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Wouldn’t it be great if you could live a Christian life totally free from conflict, free from struggle, free from any sort of battle?

If God is going to be involved in and at the center of your life, it’s a good idea to understand the role of the Holy Spirit. If you are a believer in and a follower of Jesus Christ, then it is a beneficial proposition to be conscious of the role of the Helper in your life.

Everyone is running a race. The question is what race are you running? And what goal are you running for? The apostle Paul gives us not only the goal for life, but he tells us how go after it. He tells us how run the race. First, we must Take hold of the goal. And second, we must Press toward the goal.

God finds faith wherever it is! He finds it in places we wouldn’t suspect. He finds it in people that we might not even give a chance to. Hebrews 11 is known as the faith chapter. And within this faith chapter, you have what is called the Hall of Faith. 17 people are commended for and made examples to us for their faith in God. 15 of them are men and 2 of them are women. Sarah is one of the women. Now the other woman that is an example for us of faith is someone that we wouldn’t suspect. Her name is Rahab. The Bible tells us that she was a harlot in Jericho. But as we read her story, we see that her life becomes a story of an incredible conversion to God. It is a story of Great faith, salvation, redemption, action and destiny. It’s a story that becomes a legacy of faith.

The phrase “shaken not stirred” is a phrase out of the early James Bond movies by Ian Fleming. The phrase shaken not stirred refers to how James Bond wants his Martini prepared. In these last days, there is and there will be plenty that could shake us and shake our faith. But we’ve must not be Not shaken. We need to be unshakable! And we need to be stirred up in the fruit of the Holy Spirit as well, which is the love of God!

One of the biggest industries, in the world is insurance. There are all kinds of insurance out there. If you have insurance, you will be all right when disaster strikes. People feel better when they know they are insured. But there is one thing that the believer in Jesus Christ needs and it’s not insurance. As believers in Christ, we need assurance not insurance. We need assurance in our hearts that we are God’s and that we truly have His love in our lives.

One of the most important aspects in the golf swing is the grip. The grip on the golf club really affects your success or failure in the game of golf. If your grip is too strong you will hook everything. If your grip is too weak, you will fade or slice everything. There is another grip that we can have that is more important than the golf grip. It is our grip on the gospel of Jesus Christ. These days we need to check our grip on the gospel because there are so many people trying to rewrite it. We need a firm grip on the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. Then we will believe with great success.

Who do you trust? In times like these throughout history, many ask the questions, "who can we trust", "who has the answers". The Nation of Israel was faced with this dilemma as they were about to enter the promised land that God had given to them.

Is there anything in your life that you are ashamed of, or embarrassed by? Most people are ashamed or embarrassed by something. But we should never be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
