Florida on Thursday saw its biggest one-day jump in new reported cases of the new coronavirus since early April. Thursday’s numbers released by the Department of Health reports show 60,183 people in Florida have now contracted the virus, an increase from 58,764 people reported on Wednesday. That’s 1,419 more people.
