We are in an incredible Christmas series called…Christmas at South Hills
Now most of us know the Christmas story—or at least some version of it. But stories aren’t just about plot points, or about an incident that directly impacts what happens next in a story. They’re about people.
And in this incredible story of Christmas…
We are asking questions like ….Why did God choose these people, at this time in human history to tell such an incredible and significant story?
And if we were to push past WHAT God did & take a deeper look at WHO He did it through, what might we see that we didn’t see before?
How might Christmas come alive for us when we breathe new life into what it was really like for them?
So last week we kickoffed an incredible series specifically for this time of year. One we like to call Christmas at South Hills

Last week we learned that God chose to bring the outsiders in. The shepherds. Us.
Christianity is about expanding the definition of who gets to be included.
So let’s jump right in.

A series all about our emotions.
Depression and anxiety are on the rise. More of us are feeling disconnected—from ourselves, others, and the meaning of life.
So why is that and what can we do about it?

Here’s the thing....There’s no denying it. Depression and anxiety are on the rise.
More of us are feeling disconnected—from ourselves, others, and the meaning of life.
So why is that and what can we do about it?
We are talking about Relationships.
Specifically ...“What makes relationships work?
Why do we seem to click with & feel cared for by certain people, while others give us the impression we’re insignificant, invisible, or in-the-way?
How is it some families can hardly stomach one another, but others seem so close?
Is it all an act, or do they know something we don’t?
Well, as it turns out, both scripture & science agree on the answer.
And the good news is—all the research suggests certain practices
have the power to turn a bad thing around, and make a good thing
even better.
So, what are these practices & how do we apply them?
