Our hope and prayer is that as we begin this new devotional study through the New City Catechism, we will be shaped more deeply be the truths of scripture found in this catechism.

We encourage you to watch the devotional, and use the catechism for your personal devotions as well as in your families and small groups.

This week we’re going to be looking at the difference one word can make. Think of some calls you may have received: I got in a car accident, but I’m fine! You have cancer, but it is easily removed. I was lost, but then my parents found me. The word but completely changes the way you’ll respond to the first part of the sentence! This week, we’ll see what a difference that word makes in our spiritual lives as we study Ephesians 2:1-10 together.
