At the beginning of November, Bitcoin will undergo a major upgrade… One which could ignite an end of year rally.
The update, named Taproot, will fundamentally improve Bitcoin’s back-end code. It will also increase privacy, transparency and fungibility, and will improve Bitcoin’s smart contract functionality.
Since its creation in 2009, Bitcoin has simply been a currency, and not much more. With the Taproot upgrade, the Bitcoin network should become significantly more usable in a plethora of ways.
And this could potentially serve as the gateway Bitcoin needs to achieve widespread mainstream adoption.
But what does this mean for the immediate and long-term future of Bitcoin?
Could the update be a catalyst for an end of year rally?
Will we see Bitcoin breakthrough even further and reach new record highs?
In this week’s episode of the Exponential Investor podcast, our crypto expert Sam Volkering is joined by Boaz Shoshan. They discuss several possibilities that we could see unfold with the Taproot upgrade.
