Chase Robinson and Chris Lee preview South Carolina’s trip to Alabama. Topics include:

Even in Alabama’s loss at Vanderbilt, the Crimson Tide’s offense continued to be explosive (8.8 yards per play) as Jalen Milroe and Ryan Williams continue to be difficult to handle.

South Carolina’s defense, led by linemen Dylan Stewart and Kyle Kennard, can get after you up front and also cover on the back end.

The Gamecocks have been inconsistent offensively but Vanderbilt beat Alabama with a mobile quarterback, and the Gamecocks have one of those in LaNorris Sellers.

Running back Rocket Sanders has been outstanding at times though he struggled Saturday.

The Gamecocks have allowed 22 sacks, and will need to do better against Alabama.

Discipline continues to be a problem for the Crimson Tide.

Chase Robinson and Chris Lee preview Vanderbilt’s trip to Kentucky. Topics include:

Vanderbilt’s offense, which utilizes a lot of option game and things you don’t typically see, is a headache to defend as Alabama found out in a stunning 40-34 upset last week.

Quarterback Diego Pavia makes it all happen, and should be on the list of consideration for SEC Player of the Year as we near the midseason mark.

The Commodores have turned it over just one time in five games.

But it’s strength-on-strength as Kentucky’s defense, featuring Deone Walker, De’Eryk Jackson, J.J. Weaver and Max Harrison, is one of the league’s best.

Hairston had a par of pick-6s when the teams met in Nashville last year.

Vanderbilt’s defense struggles to cover athletic receivers and the Wildcats have three of them in Ja’Mori Maclin, Barion Brown and Dane Key.

Talented quarterback Brock Vandagriff struggled early but looked better in the upset of Ole Miss, and made a huge play down the stretch that was the key to the upset.

Vanderbilt won the last time it was in Lexington though Kentucky won decisively in Nashville last season.

Running back Montrell Jackson is one of the league’s best.

Florida has won all but two games in the series since 2004.

However, the Vols are home (and won the last time the teams played in Knoxville) and are 15-point favorites for a reason.
