In our first episode we discuss the problem of mixing politics with church life in an evangelical American church. Is it biblical to involve ourselves in politics at church when we all live in a Kingdom anyway? What does the Bible say about involving ourselves so much in partisan politics? Should pastors use the agenda of certain political parties as sounding boards from the pulpit or is that only the place for reaching the masses for the gospel? We discuss all of these questions, delve into the founding father's actual feelings about separation of church and state, and most importantly dig into the Bible for answers.
