This show is dedicated to: Douglas Albert Munro who is the only member of the United States Coast Guard to have received the Medal of Honor, the United States's highest military award. Munro received the decoration posthumously for his actions as officer-in-charge of a group of landing craft on September 27, 1942, during the September Matanikau action in the Guadalcanal campaign of World War II.

Berdahl, the door gunner, were aboard a UH-1H helicopter (tail #69-16717) on a recovery mission for downed F-4 fighter jet pilots. Two other men died as a result of the crash but several days later. Sgt. Fernando Figueroa died January 24, 1972 of burns received on 20 January and SP4 Walter C. B. Det graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Government degree from Wofford College, received his Law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his Masters of Divinity from Columbia International University. Det practiced law for nearly 20 years and was involved in real estate development, agribusiness, outdoor advertising and insurance. He has invested the past 20 years in Christian ministry.
