Part 22 - If leprosy illustrates the corruption and defilement of sin, then palsy is the picture of the paralysis that sin produces. Jesus (after ministering to the leper by cleansing; the unclean made clean) now deals with palsy another condition that humanity had no solution for.

In this, Jesus deepens the mans condition, by not just healing him but forgiving him. The man with the palsy was the beneficiary of the healing both spiritually and physically. However, those Pharisees in the vicinity were both critical and unbelieving. We see, Jesus, facing the criticism of the religious elite of the day who didnt comprehend who He truly was.

We live in a world that fails to recognize the need for a Saviour. Often times we pray for the Lord to revive our country but we stop short of recognizing that revival starts with the individual. Revival starts with us.

As we study the life of David we can see that he was a mighty, valiant, and prudent man, whom the Lord was with, but we also see in him a pattern of revival. Tonight, as Brother Keegan Moodley preaches, we will study the revival that occurred in David; the revival for one.

Part 21 - As Jesus Christ ministered through his cleansing, we find a prime example of an individual in desperate need. In humility and reverence, he approached our Saviour with a desire to be clean. Evidently, Jesus Christ was not only wanting to cleanse this man but was able to through His power. This ministry of Jesus through his cleansing encourages us as believers to continually look for opportunities to bring others into an intimate walk with God.
