We all loved to serve, and we love serving with one another. But sometimes we forget who were serving or we replace our heart to serve God to serving things of this world.

Week 3 - Everyone has a dream that they wished would come true. In Josephs case, his dreams did, but he didnt realize the cost of seeing them come to reality.

Joseph is a great picture of our Lord Jesus Christ. Rejected by his brethren, only to be his brethrens rescuer when he is elevated by God. It is worth noting that no sin was mentioned in connection with Joseph and hence we see a perfect picture of Christ, the sinless one.

Part 20 - The events of this chapter cover Jesus establishing who some of His disciples are, continuing His teaching and miracle work and early encounters with the religious elite of His day.

There is a great need for us to practice what we preach at home before we take it elsewhere. Jesus demonstrates this. Whilst His calling was for the lost sheep of Israel, and to be the lamb slain for the sins of the world, He started right in His home region of Galilee.

Week 2 - The picture of Samson in his separation is our potential, his following after his flesh is the potential of our demise. Yet, the picture of Samson as a conqueror through humble response in his affliction teaches us that God has grace for a comeback from our own wastefulness. The picture of Samson as a conqueror at his death is a great type of Christ, who brought down the enemy in His humility.

Part 19 - The Lake of Gennesaret or the Sea of Galilee was a large body of water that formed the western shores of Galilee. This particular part of the region was known for its fertile soil and beauty. It was at times referred to as the Paradise of Galilee although there remains nothing of it today. This is where we find Jesus to begin our chapter. No doubt a popular place to take leisure and to engage in commerce, Jesus wouldnt have found this place empty of people. We find Him doing what He intended to do, preach His Word.

Many religions have misused this book to depict error regarding the simplicity of the Gospel. Yet we find no contradiction between Pauls teachings and James teachings regarding Justification.

This book is a very practical book. Temptation is no respecter of persons, whether you have been saved for many years or are a new follower of Jesus Christ, you will experience times of temptations and testings. Though the barrage of temptation comes our way the Bible provides a clear means of dealing with temptation victoriously.

Are you stuck in your bubble? Do you realize the difference you can make? Are you willing to be used of God? In this passage, we see Mordecai, a man who stood for God when no one else would. We see Esther, one who even though she did not perceive the problem or receive the solution correctly, with the help of Mordecai was able to make a difference. Part 18 - Jesus time on earth was littered with times when He healed those in need. Modern medicine has masked the immediacy of healing at times, but even to this day, it has failed to eliminate all disease. This is where Jesus is different. He didnt just go about teaching with words of wonder, He helped those who were needy and it is said of Him that he went about doing good. So, even the physical challenges of humanity didnt impede Him.
