Regression to the mean is a phenomenon observed in economics, psychology, academics and even athletics. Those who like to measure performance observes this in all these various areas. Regression to the mean is simply experiencing an extreme outcome (whether negative or positive) then followed by a result thats closer to their average output. There are times when we experience great highs spiritually only to come back to the norm and its at this time we must be guarded. We will observe this truth in the lives of Moses, the Disciples, Elijah and Peter and hope to glean truths that will prove helpful as we enter into a new year.

We are at a constant fight, a spiritual warfare. There are opposing forces and we must choose which side to be on. There are some who struggle to choose which side to choose. What I mean by that is that they have a constant change of which side their on, changing every so often. As Christians, we ought to exemplify Gods love to one another. No matter how grand the gesture, every single act of kindness can have an immense impact. Here in Acts 16, we see Paul and Silas imprisoned in Philippi. Despite the inconvenient predicament, following some praise and prayer, they are able to be a blessing to the jailor, not only saving his physical life but his spiritual life.
