What are your memories or impressions from that series?
In your own words, describe the difference between following Christ with Fierce Intentionality and just being a fan of Christ, cheering Him on from the sidelines.
God describes David as “a man after My heart” (1 Sam 13:14 & Acts 13:22). What do you think it means to be a man/woman after God’s heart?
What might need to change in your life for this to be said of you?
Read Phil. 3:3-14 out loud and compare the old Paul and his resume (vv3-6) to the new Paul and his relationship to Christ. What has changed? Where is his identity now?
Are there areas where you are particularly susceptible to slipping into a resume relationship with Go?
Read Heb. 12:1-3 out loud, what are we supposed to throw off and where are we supposed to look as we run the race set before us with perseverance?
Read Eph. 3:16-21 out loud. What are your responses to Paul’s prayer for our church?
Do you feel like you are living with the divine power that Paul refers to in vv16, 18 & 20?
How could we experience more of this power in our lives?
