This week we are reminded about the seed of the Word of GOD and that our ability to receive it is determined by the openness of our hearts - specially worry.

We are reminded that our words have the ability to actively create and shape our reality.  GOD also repeatedly warns us through scripture to carefully consider the words we profess because they have the power of life and death.

As we look at overcoming anxiety, we are first challenged to reflect on the things that cause us to become anxious. We are then challenged to confront ourselves  through this question: "How can God’s peace rule on the throne of our heart, if we’ve substituted ourselves in the place where only God should be seated?"

We are reminded that offence is taken, not given to us. And when we take offence, we are taking something that keeps us in prison not the person we refuse to forgive.

Following CHRIST includes discovering our worth and developing a deeper self-love, as ones worthy of the cross. When we have a deeper love of self, this translates to a deeper ability to also love others the way that CHRIST did.

In week two, we are reminded that if we are positioned under the rule of God’s kingdom as citizens of heaven then it’s not God who must bless what we embrace but we who must embrace what he has blessed.

Remembrance is very important to GOD, otherwise we may default into defining ourselves by what we do rather than what CHRIST has done for us and by who we are in HIM. As such, we are reminded that if we want good fruit in our marriages, the goal is not the fruit our spouse can give us, it's the vine which produces the fruit through us.
