As we pray, we should remember that Jesus prayed for non-believers as well as believers. One of the best ways that Christians show the love of Christ is simply how they live life together. Praise God that the body of Christ is made up of believers from all nations, colors, tongues and cultures. Unity doesn't mean uniformity but rather a oneness between believers that flows from our oneness with God.

It's a remarkable thought that the Creator of the universe would pray for believers. But that's exactly what scripture shows us. As we study the book of John we see a great example of how to pray from Jesus. God's Word tells us that Jesus prays for believers to choose the Word over the world; Jesus prays for believers to have His joy, Jesus prays for believers to grow in sanctification and Jesus prays for believers to see themselves as sacred.

Join us as we take a break from our study on the book of John and focus on the power, importance and implications of a strong prayer life.

John the Baptist was sent to proclaim the coming of the one true King, the Messiah Jesus Christ. And though his ministry was extremely popular, John had no issues with stepping out of the limelight so that Jesus may take control. He told his followers when they complained that Jesus was growing more popular than John that he must decrease so that Christ might increase. So goes the life of the believer today. We have been made dead to sin and alive to Christ because of His work on the cross. Praise Him for that truth today!

In this message, Pastor Brad Lynch walks us through Nicodemus' divine encounter with Jesus. Nicodemus was a highly educated and respected Pharisee, a ruler of the Jews. Yet, Christ explains salvation to him in a way that he has never heard before. Through the passage, God shows us that being born again happens by placing our faith in Jesus; being born again is not about us coming to God but God coming to us; Being born again is the most important thing that will ever happen to you.

It is something to take note of that as Jesus was beaten, he didn't say a word. When He was abandoned by his friends and followers, He offered grace and mercy. To the sinner on the cross, He offered forgiveness. But when it came to His Father's house, He offered no leniency and expected it to be kept holy and pure. By His sacrifice, our bodies are now the Temple and He expects the same thing from our lives. Whatever we do, do it for the glory and honor of The Lord.

Jesus chose to reveal Himself in a special way at a friend's wedding. As we review chapter 2, verses 1-11, we see that Jesus turning water into wine points to something greater than the actual event. Jesus is our perfect Bridegroom who loves us, purifies us and makes us new!
