God is just to pour out His wrath upon unrighteous sinners and God is merciful to pour out His wrath on His righteous Son so that the unrighteous can become righteous in Christ.

God calls us to exercise self-control by being dependent upon the Spirit of Christ so that we can demonstrate the love of Christ all for the glory of Christ. Biblical self-control is not about bringing ourselves under our own control, but about being controlled by the love and power of Christ.

We are not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for salvation!

God’s love, grace and gospel empowers our salvation in Christ and our service for Christ.

The gospel declares that salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone which not only saves us from our sins, but it also serves to clarify who we are, who God is and what His purpose is for our lives.

The stories we tell to the next generation about God shape the next generation and their love for God.
