If we follow Jesus, then we may find ourselves divided from loved ones who don’t follow Him, there is the promised division, but the gospel shows us that Christ is worth it and He will sustain us through it.

As we have come into this new year we can hear this text by the Lord Jesus Christ to encourage us with the absolute assured that He is coming back; but also as His followers to ‘be ready’ for His return at any moment, so let us be faithful according to how He tells us to be ready.
